Story still developing....

A police spokesperson has confirmed that actor Heath Ledger, 28, was found dead in his New York home .

TMZ reports that Ledger was found in bed by his housekeeper. No details have been released as yet, but TMZ says that law enforcement sources are not treating it as a crime. CNN reports that he was surrounded by pills.

Update:
TMZ says that a masseuse arrived and was let in by the housekeeper. The masseuse knocked on the bedroom door and when there was no answer, opened the bedroom door and found Ledger unconscious. Paramedics were called and found Ledger in full cardiac arrest. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:30 p.m.

Ledger, who has a daughter with fellow actor Michelle Williams, was nominated for his role as the cowboy Ennis in 'Brokeback Mountain' and just wrapped filming on 'The Dark Knight' where he played the Joker to Christian Bale's Bruce Wayne/Batman.

Heath Ledger was born in Perth, Australia.

He was such a promising actor. Why does it always seem the young talented ones die first?

Gaspard, ai ni..

So I just watched "Paris, Je t'aime"...

And I loved every moment of it (even the sad stories) but the Gaspard short was well -too short! He was so adorable gushing his heart out to the guy in the paint shop, not to mention he seemed to have ADD or something XD

I loved loved loved!! the one with Grandpa and the baby ^-^ "Mon petit, Gaspard!" hehe....

It is going on the list of movies to icon.

Summary: Deep in my heart I'm concealing things that I'm longing to say. Scared to confess what I'm feeling - frightened you'll slip away. The night before her immediate departure to the Southern Water Tribe, Katara and Zuko reflect on one another and themselves behind their carefully cultivated masks.
Disclaimer: I don't own Zuko or Katara, the lyrics belong to Snow Patrol's "Run". The quote in the summary comes from the movie Evita.
Author's Note: I tried to incorporate a feeling of irony to go along with the things that are left unsaid between the two.Can you sense it?

“I leave tomorrow.” she stated blandly, careful to disguise her emotions in front of the Fire Lord as they leaned on his study balcony overlooking the royal garden. For all the years they’d spent together, there still seemed to be a wall between them –no matter how many battles they’d faced together as teens, no matter how many late night talks they had in his study as adults -Katara could never fully let her guard down around him. Could never really tell him what was in her heart.

“I know.” his voice was blank, just as dull as hers. Guarded.

“I suppose I’ll stop in Ba Sing Se first. Sokka said the re-construction is coming along beautifully and Toph… is doing well, five months along now.” She couldn’t help but sigh sadly as she whispered the last part, a little of her mask slipping. As much as she was ecstatic for her brother and her best friend, she couldn’t help but feel a little jealous that they’d found each other so easily and now were about to become happy parents –a life she would never have.

Katara was no fool. She knew that upon her return to the Southern Water Tribe her father would begin rounding up suitors. She knew there would be a wedding and a marriage, but it would be a loveless one. Not the relationship she wanted, at least not with the man she wanted. Her parents and Sokka had been lucky, marrying the ones they’d loved all along and never having to pretend.

Picking up on the unhappiness in her voice, Zuko turned to face her. She looked too beautiful bathed in the moonlight, all smooth skin and wild hair falling about. He knew what was expected of her –it was expected of him as well –and tried to push the pain in his chest away. Even if he told her now that he wanted her to stay tonight, she would still be on the boat tomorrow.

And so he said nothing but letting his façade of indifference fall, he reached for her hand and held it tightly.

Good times, man, good times...

My fitness class played "big Blue Ball" (I know, it sounds so juvenile) today and I totally made Mike wood eat grass. It's a funny thing, how violent people get when playing with an aerobics ball....

Anyways Mike went to do a Superman dive onto the thing just as I was booting it and he completely missed. I mean he was flying through the air beside me and all the sudden he was just laying there. To add a little salt to his wound, when I turned around to see if he was okay I accidently stepped on his fingers. Ouch!

Later he said he's face hurt (he did have a little scratch) and his hand was sore. :P

Also, I kicked Jon in the shin. Not gonna lie, that was on purpose but it was alright because we're buddies and he definetly deserved it for trying to run me over with the ball.

So even though it has the tendency to kick my ass every now and then, Fitness can be pretty fun sometimes. :)

So... my computer decided to start working again. It'll probably crash again tomorrow but here's to today!

Stupid Computer

Well peeps, it's my sad duty to inform you that at exactly 6:50 this morning my computer died of a failed fan and an overheated system. It had been running really slow lately (making it difficult to make lots of icons)and last night seemed to be going snail pace. Not only that, but some of my programs became kind of screwy too, namely word and photoshop.

This morning when I went to turn it on and print my english essay, it wouldn't even boot up. Instead it made a lot of wierd clicking noises until you took your finger off the power button.

In any case, if it stays broken, meaning it's not worth fixing, I get a new computer. The down side to this though, is that I won't be able to post any new icons until the new baby comes... which could be a long while. This makes me angry and sad becuase I like making icons for you guys, especially the wonderful boys and girls over at jasonmarie, who are very enthusiastic and kind.

Fingers crossed for being up and running again soon!

P.s. having to type and re-type my english paper at 7:00 this morning (when I'm supposed to be leaving the house at 8) was extremely aggrevating and I hope we don't have a repeat performance again any time soon.
